Love & Friends With Cameras

To this day, I have never lost so much sleep over a job as I did during the months preceding Jeremy and Vanessa's wedding. I've photographed other photographers before, but a photographer's wedding is an entirely different animal. Weddings are different animals. Period. Along with being extremely flattered and excited when given the honors I was sweating bullets. Thanks to a summer well spent at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography I have made quite a few dear friends with exceptional talent. One friend in particular, Hailey King, was kind enough to make the trip to be my second shooter. Together we joined creative forces, and if I may say so myself, pulled through.

To begin the festivities they hosted an ever memorable rehearsal dinner at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah. The following day the girls headed to the Paul Mitchell School (where Vanessa taught cosmetology) for hair and makeup. After a drive up the beautiful Millcreek Canyon we arrived at Log Haven, a truly stunning venue.

Words cannot express how much I appreciate Jeremy and Vanessa entrusting me with the honors of photographing their weekend. It was filled with so much laughter, tears of joy (many of my own), and genuine love. I can only hope that I captured a little of the sweetness. These are a few of my favorites.
